We really wanted to see the northern lights on our trip, so it was a treat that we saw them as we were landing. It was hard to get a good photo through the window with a hand-held camera, but at least we got something. While we were there, we downloaded apps to see forecasts and track the lights, but we never had another night where the weather cooperated for us to see them.
