We don’t really understand the hype surrounding Charleston tourism, so the Patriots Point Naval Maritime Museum was the PERFECT place for us to spend a day. We toured the aircraft carrier and the submarine and then took a harbor boat tour out around Fort Sumter.

Walking through the very tight quartered USS Clamagore Submarine makes our appreciation for our military soar! This whole park makes us nothing but thankful for our servicemen.

Cute lunch date, all American scenic backdrop, and seafood food truck that serves burgers. What more could you ask for? Yummy tropical lemonade concoction.

Tom our amazing tour guide who also served on aircraft carriers. He told amazing stories that made this ship’s history come to life. Thank you for your service, Tom!

Just the cutest little skinny house in Charleston. Also, we sent a pic of the car to Timothy, who appreciates the finer automobiles!

I wish you could “like” a picture or comment lol. I kept finding myself wanting to press something or heart something. Anyway, thanks for posting the pics! Fun to see the journey in one spot!

Thanks, Julie. We made it a bit easier to comment. I’ll have to see about “liking” a photo.
