Our 50 state adventure to celebrate our 50th birthdays

What’s 48 miles long x 37 miles wide? The state of Rhode Island. (Little Rhody to the locals)

This was our biggest drive to date in one day! And through the edge of New York City!

The clearance to that bridge was 9 foot 2 inches and our trailer height is 10 foot 5 inches! We were a little freaked out, the bridges got lower and lower in New York near Yonkers. Turns out, if you go under the center of the bridge, the clearance is higher, that is just the side clearance. Whew!

This 3.5 mile walk was so incredible. It took us in front of amazing homes and hotels and colleges but the water and rocks and natural beauty were just spectacular. It was ever changing from a smooth walk to very rocky to steps to tunnels to sand. It is truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited.

The beginning of the cliff walk at Easton Beach.

Jerry saw this little cave from above and could tell some water was coming down from it, but he wanted a closer look.

So he climbed down on the rocks and sure enough, it had a little underground stream coming out to the ocean at the back of it.

I love smelling flowers! I smell every flower I can reach with my nose. These were divine. I have no idea the name of any flower ever, but I’ll remember that fragrance! These were little surprises all along the cliffs.

A boy and his drone

A different perspective on our pickleball play. His little drone just hovered above us like a little flying referee.
