Hooray for Ouray! This was such a surprise. We aren’t usually interested in little small towns like this but it was SO adorable and charming. Everywhere you looked, the shops were beautiful and well kept with fresh flowers out front. No matter which direction you look, the city is surrounded with mountains, you can’t get a picture without a mountain. It’s a tiny town of 1000 but has so much to offer. But I’m sure the winters here are hell! It is high in the mountains and boasts winters with lots of snow.

This gorgeous waterfall was right in town.
It was powerful and amazing and just a quick little walk from main street.
You can view the waterfall from the coffee/ice cream shop in the center of town.
This river! Best riverwalk we’ve ever seen in any town.
It’s so perfect I was sure it was fake.
Most hotels and RV parks and rentals overlook this river at one point or another.
