This is something everyone needs to see. We grew up hearing about this ark our whole lives and it sure was amazing to be able to explore it inside and out. I didn’t think there was anything I didn’t know about this story, but they posed many interesting ideas and possibilities of how things went down. There is much more to this exhibit than we expected. It made for great discussions and review of what we thought we knew.

Very interesting ideas inside related to long term food and supply storage and waste management and housing of a ridiculous amount of creatures.

We attended a presentation of the K9 trainers who work on site here and at the Creation Museum. 6 dogs work between the two attractions.

They did a live demonstration and this doggy sniffed everyone’s bags until he found what they had hidden.

The zoo at the Ark Encounter was much more extensive than at the Creation Museum. We saw camels, llamas, kangaroos, alpacas, turtles, armadillos, zebras, donkeys, lemurs, emus, goats, and many more.

Hugging lemurs! 💕
